Chambre Music Festival of New Talents & Guests in Villers sur Mer

For 31 years now, the Festival of New Talents & Guests of Villers sur Mer has established itself as an unmissable seaside event in the Normandy landscape of classical music. Offering an ever-renewed original program dedicated to chamber music every summer, it combines the excellence of music with strong interaction with the public.

Under the artistic direction of Charlène Froëlich-Willem, the piano is being honored this summer around seven concerts welcoming « young talents » – sometimes even already nominated for the Victoires de la Musique – and the best artists of the moment in solo or in chamber music without setting musical or geographical boundaries. From solo to quartet, classical music lets itself be influenced from time to time by jazz or tango …

Regardless of their notoriety, the musicians themselves present their program to the public, whom they then enjoy meeting after the concert. After the festival, subscribed visitors have the privilege of voting for their favorite artist, allowing them to return the following year.

Family seaside town par excellence on the Normandy Cost, Villers sur Mer and the Festival des Nouveaux Talents & Invités does not forget the children. Hoping to bring them to awaken their music-loving sensitivity, they are invited to music and song workshops every morning. The week ends with a show for their parents. The Festival of New Talents & Guests of Villers sur Mer is therefore a unique event in the landscape of chamber music festivals in the heart of a city with discreet charm and yet fully alive.
