COVID-19 management at the Hotel Outre-Mer

In these moments of concern and questions, here is transparently the useful information relating to the crisis management of COVID-19 at the Hotel Outre-Mer.


* Our establishment, since March 15, 2020, has been closed for the tea room, lounge bar and breakfast in the lounge. Our hotel, for its accommodation part only, is only open to people with a travel exemption: health personnel in the broad sense, soldiers, truck drivers, press, etc. The tourist clientele will be admitted when the confinement will end, we very much hope as soon as possible.
For people with permission to travel, we will not be able to provide all of our usual services, and in particular breakfast can only be served via our room service and by respecting very specific sanitary procedures.


* As far as health security measures are concerned, we apply the barrier instructions with the greatest vigilance:
– Social distancing during check-in and out, provision (when we can order) of hydro-alcoholic gels,
– Constant supply of usual cleaning and maintenance products, rolls of absorbent paper, etc.
– Establishment of a cleaning plan with periodicity and monitoring of work surfaces, work equipment, tools, door handles and buttons or switches, payment areas, materials, more generally of any object and surface likely to may have been contaminated.


* In accordance with the recent government ordinance of March 25, 2020, and regarding stays other than those 100% pre-payable which remain unchanged, our cancellation policy will be more flexible.
In the event of cancellation occurring between March 1st and September 15, 2020, for force majeure exclusively due to the exceptional circumstances of the pandemic crisis of Corrona virus, any amount already debited as a deposit (30% of overnight stays) will not be lost but will now constitute an asset valid for 18 months.
